      I walked into this place today and was amazed by the place. It's huuuuuge and they have every tool and toy and accessory you'll ever need. Cheaper than the smaller shops further down the street too.

      The Grommet tool that I received was scratched and smudged, even though it was in new packaging. When I wrote to Goldstar and sent photos, the CEO wrote back and said all of their tools are brand new. He was not interested in making things right or making a customer happy with his product.
      This tool would not consistently squeeze the grommet pieces together, ruined a lot of paper and then it broke after using it on 40 pieces. It is an inferior product.

      Broken tool- the tooth that holds the eyelet cracked off.

      I've been ordering my pattern making paper from gold star for over 2 years. There price can't be beat. Recently my order got delayed, after a quick call they upgraded me to a larger bolt and hand delivered it to my house. I'll be a customer for life!

      AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

      I have reason to believe this business is operating under FRAUDULENT charges. I placed an order online and requested it to be cancelled the next day. I was told that it was done but I am not seeing that reflected back on to my card...1 week later. I've been told I will get a call back without any follow up. The man questioning why I wanted to cancel my order asked in a strange way that immediately raised red flags

      This review will be left posted until I receive an update from the company. Next, I will be disputing this charge from my credit card company.

      Should have read the review. Customer service is a mess. Took me 2 months to get a return on defective machine finalized including refuting the charge with my credit card company.

      Poor customer service. Spent about $2300 on a sewing machine and grommet press. Shipped quickly but had a quality issue with the grommet press and need to return. (Approx $90.) I have received no replied to three separate emails over a two week time period to customer service. Interestingly, when I sent and email just prior to the purchasing inquiring about shipping, I received an email within an hour. They'll get back to you immediately when they want to sell you something, but not to back up their products. Don't Buy.

      LISTEN TO THE OTHERS. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.

      Where do I start! Called the company to inquire about a specific machine for the type of work I do. The owner David kept insisting the machine I wanted would not work. He showed another machine. (New Tech brand) and said this would be the perfect machine for me. I decided to give it a shot. Drove 3 hours away and picked the machine up. Used the machine for 5 mins and knew this wasnt the machine for me. Called David and told him I would be returning it and needed a replacement ASAP.

      I told David exactly what machine I wanted and David said he was going to gift me something better for the troubles. I specifically told David, I wanted a 3/8" needle gauge. David said he would order the parts and have the machine ready in a week. One week later, I called to schedule a pick up and David said it would be ready later that week. Same thing the next week. 3 weeks Later, I told David I was going to be in the area and needed the machine that day. David said the part came in and needed to be installed. David said the machine would be ready for pick up in the morning.

      I scheduled my errands the same day David said the machine would be ready for pick up. When I arrived at the shop, the other Owner said the machine was not ready. I told him, I did not care and wanted to take my machine home. David called me and told me he did not want me to take the machine because it needed to be worked on by a specialist and the part he said was in shop, never arrived. David said it was going to arrive the next morning. Lie after lie. David said he would have the part installed and ship the machine overnight for the troubles. I waited till noon the next day to verify my machine was shipped out. David said it was not ready because his mechanic was in the hospital.

      After 4 weeks of waiting, losing one client and behind work. I decided to ask for a refund. David offered me another machine that would be ready for pick up the next day. After looking over all their machines, I decided to accept the machine in order to catch up on my work. I picked up the machine, brought it home verified several times the machine was properly set up. I changed the thread to B90 and began testing the machine. Immediately the bobbins started to lock up and break the thread. I cleared the machine, re-threaded everything again and continued to have problems. I removed the needle plate and could see the timing was off.

      Also, noticed the parts for the 3/8" gauge set were all different. They used mixed match parts to change the gauge settings.

      I took pictures and installed the needle plate. When I re-tested the machine, the hooks were jamming on the needle plate and stopping the machine. I text David the videos and pictures of the issues I was having. David simply ignored me. I waited a day and text David again. He ignored me.

      So after a long frustrating ordeal. I will take the machine to a local specialist to have it repaired. This company will do whatever it takes to steal your hard earned money but once they have a sale and you begin having issues. They will simply ignore you. Do not do business with this company unless you want to spend thousands only to have to spend a few more hundreds to get your machines working properly. Listen to the reviews. Stay away

      I have an older singer shoe patcher that I am mounting on a moder table with a servo motor. I sent an inquiry to goldstar tool asking about tables and servo motors. I found the response rude, unhelpful, and ignorant. So trying to find another person in the company to talk to I messaged their Facebook page. It was the same person, who processed to argue and get even more rude and aggressive. I would not suggest having any business this company.
